Brief Objectives of RMA

Rajkot Management Association is Recipient of the flagship National Award of Best Local Management Association (AIMA), Titled “Shaping Young Minds Programme” for the year 2020, scheduled on 22nd January, 2020.

To promote and develope Education in Scientific management.
To promote amongst members, Exchange of knowledge, Experience and ideas on sound management principles and practices.
To make available benefits of its activities and facilities to concerned people
To promote education in theory and practice of management and related subjects.
To play proactive role working with the state Government, Central Government and other Statutory authorities to promoting policies suitable for growth and development.

RAJKOT Management Association (RMA) is the leading Institute for management in Saurashtra with over 200 Elite members from Rajkot Trade and Industry. RMA is affiliated to All India Management Association since 1989 and winner of Best Local Management Association award twice. Rajkot Management Association is a non-lobbying, not for profit organisation, working closely with industry, Government, academia and students, to further the cause of the management profession in Saurashtra.

We make a salutary contribution to management learning and practice in Saurashtra by offering various services in the areas of skill development & training, events & conferences, research, publications, executive education and management development programmes.

The association is represented on a number of policy making bodies of the Government of Gujarat, Rajkot Collectorate, Start Up Initiative, Police Commissionerate Rajkot and Rajkot Municipal Corporation. RMA was instrumental in Unique PPP Initiative including Rajkot Marathon, Velly of Wild Flower, World Yoga day, Run for Unity , Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Smart City initiative and Be-Aware Campaign etc.

The Team RMA is fondly addressed as “Think Tank of Rajkot” and each committee member is committed to do their best for achieving Goals of Rajkot Management Association.

Under the flag of AIMA, We @ RMA intend to support and create a Pool of Young Leaders of Saurashtra to take this great country further to become 5 Trillion Economy.

I remember and give Credits to All Past Presidents and Teams for creating a legacy, which inspires each new team to take this torch of ignited minds further to greater Heights. I specially recognise Shri Deepak Suchdey (Past President and Past Chairman) being mentor to entire current team, which is headed by Shri Parag Jobanputra, who deserves kudos for his relentless pursuit for activities of RMA in recent times. I also thank all B Schools and their Deans for always welcoming Team RMA in various activities at Student level.

I invite all Citizens of Rajkot to be Part of this Elite group of likeminded friends and make Rajkot a better place.

Rajkot Management Association (RMA) is transforming itself over the last few years and catching up the lost ground. With great pleasure, we are relaunching our website which will help all of us to connect, transact and interact easily and effectively.

We will design and plan management activities and disseminate critical knowledge required to sustain our existence, through this channel regularly.

I appeal all the Management Professionals, Leaders, knowledge seeking individuals and businessmen to be a member RMA, which is affiliated to the All India Management Association and have partnered with local and international association towards disseminating applied management knowledge.

A Quality professional with mechanical engineering background, Parag has more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing and IT quality management.Started his career with manufacturing quality assurance and management, more than 9 years with manufacturing Industry, focusing complete transformation of quality and general management by using various quality tools including ISO 9001.

Parag Passed first batch of ISO 9001 lead assessor in Gujarat in 1996. Similarly he became the first third party assessor for Aerospace standard AS 9100 C for Gujarat in 2012.

For about 19 years, he served a German Multinational TUV SUD SOUTH ASIA and have done more than 3000 third party assessments and training for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS 9100 D standard, nationally and internationally in countries like Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, etc. He managed business operations for western region and growing a customer base from almost zero to 1500 very reputed organizations.

Parag also consulted few organization establishing management systems, turn around and performance improvement

On public service front, Parag Lead and supported JCI india, American Society of Quality and is member of RMA since 2007. Served as secretary for about 8 years and now president of RMA from February 2019 onwards

Dr. Dharmesh Raval is Vice President at Rajkot Management Association – LMA ofAIMA and Professor at School of Management, RK University, Rajkot.
Dr. Dharmesh has over 2 decades of experience in the field of Research,
Training, Administration, Consultancy and other relevant fields. He has served in different B-Schools of Rajkot in the capacity of Placement Officer, Assistant Director, Professor, Director and Dean. He did his Ph.D in Accounting and Finance area in 2007 and has research interest in Entrepreneurship, Financial Performance Measurement, Global Warming and Carbon Credit, Leadership, Innovation and Business Strategy. He has guided 12 Ph.d Scholars, and 4 out of them have been awarded degrees.
He has authored more than 20 articles, research paper and review papers in National and International Journals and also presented his research work in more than 25 National and International Conferences. His active interest to work with Industry to bridge the gap between academics and industry has yielded considerable results for the B-Schools, Management Students and the Management Fraternity of Saurashtra Region. He has also been part of organizing team of International Academic conference, Industry Events and Training Programs.
